Fast 50 mm standard prime lens for Canon EF cameras
The EF50mm f/1.4 USM is a compact standard prime for Canon EF cameras. Introduced in June 1993, it covers full-frame cameras and offers an f/1.4 maximum aperture for low-light photography and background blur.
Its seven-element optical design includes two high-refraction elements. A micro-USM motor provides autofocus with full-time manual adjustment. The lens suits everyday photography and portraits, particularly on APS-C cameras.
