Description | In the foreground there are a lot of dry wood residues. This is a typical phenomenon for this region. Previously, timber was rafted along the river, many logs, snags and other wood residues settled along the banks of the Kama River and adjacent territories. The Perm village of Maykor has been known since 1579. In 1811, entrepreneur V.A.Vsevolozhsky founded an ironworks in Maykor. Pig iron was delivered by water from the Alexandrovsky and Vilvensky factories. The plant was closed in 1954 due to the formation of the Kama reservoir. |
