| Description | According to archival documents, already in 1365 in Filippovsky there was a church in honor of St. Nicholas Myr of Lycia the Wonderworker. The modern St. Nicholas Church is considered the third and was built in 1821 after the Patriotic War of 1812 in the style of late classicism (according to the forms and images of ancient art). Even before construction, in 1818, the Alekseevsky side-chapel was consecrated, and later the Sergievsky side-chapel, in honor of St. Alexis and St. Sergius of Radonezh. |
