We've got challenging conditions during our Iguazu Falls workshop last November. Huge rain storms caused Iguazu falls to swell, and we witnessed incredible power of rushing water 10-times of the normal flow!
The Devil’s throat walkway on Argentinian side was severely damaged, with several sections being completely washed away, and the part of survived trails was closed due to life-threatening conditions. But Oh My God, the part that remained open was overwhelmingly powerful.

Brazilian side was open except the catwalk into the Devil’s Throat but on many viewpoints, photography was barely possible.
Videos from this trip are incredible but we also tried to record a roar of thundering water in still images. Here are two images - first one from last November and the second one taken from virtually the same spot 13 years ago. The "blurred water" approach, used back in 2010 was not working this time – on slow shutter speed an intense mist was filling most of the frame with almost even whitish blur.
Which one do you like better?

Птички понравились. Не боятся намокнуть. :)
@Александр Фурсов, Нет, не боятся:) Они живут на стене за водопадом!
@MikeReyfman, с них, как с гуся вода!
Верхний кадр особенно хорош!
